I am replacing my front door and am currently looking at alternatives online.

When changing my door, I plan to upgrade to a new, smart lock which should make getting in and out more convenient while also increasing security.

Do I have to let my insurer know if I am changing my door and installing smart locks? If so, will this affect my premiums?
